Hello everyone

I have made an application through NSC on 19th of july 2016. but yet not received approval. i am aware that service standard is 6 months Nationality Applications . However looking at time line at this forum majority of MN1 applications are approved after two months of Biometric Enrolment. Please share your experience or suggestion to speed up i have to travel back home due to illness of my mother.

The application does not begin to get processed until biometrics have been enrolled, so you've only been waiting 2.5 months so far. Have some patience, it'll probably come through in the next few weeks.

our timelines are almost the same.
I am really worried that it either got lost or misplaced or whatever.
Even contacted them to check if they do have it, but they won't tell you anything if the application is within 6 months.
I would have understood it but seeing as people applying almost a month after me already got theirs certificate and passport does not help to calm down.

Date of receipt of registration certificate: waiting
Date of receipt of Passport: waiting

Really, really frustrating.

Internal staffing and processes and policies at HO are a black box.
Helpline cannot help.
There is no backdoor or escalation route.

It is quite normal to receive no feedback or updates from HO at all.

There is no rhyme or reason to it and nothing to be done (certainly not before the required 6 months have passed).

No, as you yourself have recognised, not before 6 months.
