Hi,
Please let me know is it mandatory to get UK NAIRC certificate to prove degree was taught in English. When I applied for ILR I just submitted the printout of online calculator showing degree was taught in English.It seems the point based calculator is no longer available so I am not sure whether to obtain letter from NAIRC for citizenship.

Hi,

You may tick the option 'Already proved during ILR application after Oct 2013' and take your degree to your NCS appointment and that's enough. No need for Naric letter if you proved it in your ILR after Oct 13. There are multiple threads relating to this.

I am looking into Form AN Application form (version 01/16) and can see now.
Instead of selecting " i. UK NARIC has confirmed that the qualification was taught or researched in English;"
I will tick "I met the knowledge of language and life requirement to qualify for settlement on or after
28th October 2013;"

Hi,I have contacted NCS for naturalization appointment and they are asking the NARIC certificate as mandatory for applying naturalization. I am not sure what supporting document to submit if I select the option

Hi All, I am going to book appointment for naturalization. As I don't have NARIC and when I applied for ILR I just submitted degree certificate along point based calculator showing my degree was recognized .Please can you confirm with out NARIC if apply will it be an issue?

Hi ILRasi,

As I said before, I can confirm one of my friend chose similar option and he just submitted his degree with AN1 application and his application was approved recently without any issues. He did not provide any NARIC letter for a degree from Non-EU country.
