Applying for British Passport - Advice Please

Hi,
Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
My wife just got her Naturalisation certificate which is in her maiden name. She wants to apply for a UK passport in her married name.
Does anyone know if our Thai marriage certificate (with translation) and her Thai passport (in married name) would be enough proof for her to get her UK passport in her married name or would she need a deed poll as well?
