Dear members
Someone said Home Office changed some rules for Nationality, was used to be completion of 1 year ILR than apply for naturalisation. The guy said now everyone complete ILR full 10 years than apply for that (excluding 6 DLR years).
Can anyway knew these changes or it is just fake.
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards

'Someone' is talking and telling you absolute rubbish!!
Nothing has changed. 12 months after ILR, you can apply for citizenship unless married to a British citizen then you don't have to wait 12 months.

The government can change the requirements for immigration (up to ILR) quite easily.
However, the rules for naturalisation are set out in Act of Parliament and they are not that easy to change. There are no current proposals to change nor any recent changes to the rules for naturalisation.

Although the
Act is not easy to change, they apparently have no qualms in changing their
interpretation/policy of the Act.
For example, the recent
tightening up
Good character requirements,
some of which, to the point of
unlawfulness.
