One of my referees endorsed my application today. In section 5.2:

"Say how you know the applicant, and state your age and profession"

has been written something like this:

'He (applicant) has been working @ Company XXX since 2012, of which i'm director'. My age is YY'

That's not clearly stating what his profession is, is it ? I guess if HO has further questions they
can always call him or ring him up. I've been told that if I'm not happy with it then we could possibly
reword it.


What are your thoughts?

If he is a director, then that is what he wrote. What did you expect him to write?

I believe this section is for your referees to fill once you place your picture on the top. They write what they are asked to write (How they know you + age + profession).

In your case, your director wrote how he knows you, his age , and his profession.

What he wrote seems to be matching the question. So , what is the problem ?

Do not over-worry about it. If there is a problem with what he wrote, then you will ultimately find out.

On a second thought - I agree with your comments. I think i'm stressing too much about it
