EEA Home Office Reference Number

Dear all, thanks also to the help that I found in this forum I obtained a permanent residence card for EEA citizens (the blue card).

At the moment I am trying to apply for naturalisation, but I cannot find what is my HO reference number. The letter they sent me by the Home Office along with the PR card contains the case ID, which is made of 8 numbers. A potential alternative could be the number written on the bottom of the blue card, which in my case is Exxxxxxx, where x are all numbers.

Does anyone know what is the correct code to insert in the naturalisation application and in the payment form as well?

Thanks a lot!

You don't have a HO reference number (like Xnnnnnnnnn where X is the first letter of your surname) so leave field 1.1 blank (also field on payment slip. Quote your PR card number in section 2.4. You will be issued with a HO references once they start processing your application (will be quoted on the biometrics letter.

Thanks, that is very useful.

In section 2.4 I included the code UKFxxxxxxx that is on the top right of the white sticker containing my picture and my personal data (blue card).

My "blue card" is very old so can't confirm the "UKF" but if its the card ref number then yes quote that one.
