I'm hoping this is straight-forward...

Hello all

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

My partner (not married) has a Spanish passport but has lived here for over 20 years and has been paying tax. I myself am British.

What's the easiest way to get her a British Citizenship before any brexit stuff affects her?

And check if spouse got ILR on entry to UK 'back in the day' - then no need for DCPR.

She doesn't know if she has leave to remain. Silly question maybe, but how does one find out? I can't seem to find any info on how to do that

It will be stamped in an old passport.

Alternatively, do a Subject Access Request to HO to find out her full history they hold.
