Hello,

I have a question regarding filing citizenship application for my wife.

She got UK visa on 17/05/2012 and she enter UK first time on 19/07/2012 (63 days after visa stamp on her passport). She already got ILR a year ago. Will she be eligable to file her case on 17/05/2017 (5 years for the day of visa stamp) or she has to wait till 19/07/2017 (5 years from the day of first entry)?

Regards
Uzair

Are you British or do you hold ILR?

Your wife's qualifying period starts from the date she ENTERED the UK, so she can only apply after 19 July 2017.
