Hello,

I was born in the Netherlands, but for my mothers protection as the Dutch government was going to deport her we moved to the UK around 2001.

I was in the UK since 2 and have British Citizenship with a false birth place/country.
I didn't know about this until I was 16.

Since the UK is leaving the EU, I want to get a Dutch Citizenship but at the same time, don't want to have to give up my British Citizenship.

If I do get my Dutch citizenship, do I have to give up my British citizenship?

Hello,

Please ignore this quesiton.

My parents confirmed to me that my British Passport does have the right birth place with all the correct details. I mixed up all the information and confused the birth place with another country.
