I am a 64 year woman born in Tanganyika formally British Colony (now Tanzania) in 1953 Based on following conditions please help me state my right to UK Claim to Citizenship or Right to abode..

1. My Father was born in India (British Rule) & lived in Tanganyika as CUKC and died with that status in 1958.
2. My Mother was a BOC living on and off in U.K and India and died in 1999 with that status.

Considering my birth in Tanganyika, (i did not acquire a Tanzanian Passport), Do i have a claim to UK Citizenship based on my place of Birth and or ancestry looking at my fathers national status.

If yes, Please state on what basis can i claim... I never renounced my UK status although never obtained an adult UK Passport.

Please desperately in need of help as i feel deprived of my rights

Do you have or have you had the nationality of any country in the past? Have you had a passport issued to you by any other country?

Where was your mother born?

British India was not a colony for the purposes of British law (See Section 18(3), (4) & (5) of Interpretation Act 1889)
