Settlement path to citizenship

I came to the UK on a Settlement Visa (ILE) when I was 14 years old from India. My indian passport expired a few years ago, and I never bothered renewing it. I have enquired and been informed that I can straight away apply for naturalisation.

My question is the Right to live in the UK test and English proficiency. I have no problem taking the first, I've done it multiple times as a mock test and should easily pass it. The english proficiency test is what puzzles me. I did my GCSEs and even did English at A-Level. Do I still need to do some sort of authorised test?

As a side note, I have been over 22 years in the UK.

Yes.

You are exempt from the English proficiency test if you have done a degree from a UK university, but any qualifications lower than that do require an accompanying English proficiency test.
