On section 1.50 Employment history do you fill in just when you were an employee or also time self employed. Just my wife was self employed for a couple of years before her present job. Working for herself those 2 years she wouldn't have Employer name or address. Do strike through residence requirement except 2.1 since she has never left UK for 7 years. My wife got her ILR 4 years ago that wouldn't cause any concerns would it because she waited a long time to apply for citizenship?

ALL employment must be listed. Presumably she declared her income and has her SA302.

There is no set time anyone must apply for citizen, not sure why you think it will be an issue.

We have self assessment for the 2 years and a letter saying she doesn't have file a tax return anymore. She never earned enough to pay tax or NI but for child benefit she gets her basic NI paid I believe.

She is a retired Medical doctor. Are you still classified as being a member of a professional body?

Doctors are not on the list. If she is no longer registered with the BMC, then no.

Back to the drawing board. It's difficult to find someone, dentists my wife sees different ones, is a playgroup teacher a professional? My wife sees nurses but not sure they would be willing, it's only optional if people want to help. A lot of those you see on the list only briefly encounter a person they don't know them personally

The SA302 you talk about is that the self assessment form you download and print off at the end of the session filing your tax return? If anything else we've never received anything.

There seems to be a lot of conflicting info some info suggests that SA302 is not received if file self assessment online. The Gov website says you can download them only for 3/4 years by that time she was an employee, she was given a letter from HMRC ending self assessment. Perhaps best to explain in a letter and be upfront.

I take it by no response, nobody knows anything about past self employment from years ago and what to do?
