MN1 JCAP APPLICATION

Hello All!
I am applying to register my son under section 1(3) and for a passport as well.But in section 5 of the passport application, from they asked if the applicant has been granted a certificate of registration.I am doing it jointly hence I can't as yes to it.neither can I answer no,as that is for person born British.Need help pls.Thanks
