Payment Question?

Good evening to you all,
Please don't be too harsh on me asking this question:
I am submitting my application for British Citizenship, and clearly, Im enclosing card details to take payment for the application.
My question is, do they accept American Express card, not very clear on the application, just says your last 3 or 4 digits CCV number.
3 CCV number normally applies to VISA / Master and 4 digits CCV to Amex cards.
Do anyone know if they accept Amex cards as payment??
