Hi

My baby was born in the UK in January 2017, we are here since 2012 but haven't applied for ILR yet. We are from EEA. Do I need to apply for naturalisation for my baby or she is a BC and I only have to apply for her passport?
Thank you.

It all depends on :

1. What you or your partner have been doing in the UK as qualified persons exercising treaty rights?

2. What date you automatically attained PR?

Note: Children are Registered. Only adults are naturalised.

1. We both have been working.

2. What PR stands for?

Thank you.

Both me and my partner have been working here since July 2012.

Then the child was born before you attained PR and you will be required to register the child as British on form MN1 and pay the fee of £973. The passport is an extra fee and separate process.
