I need advise.
3 weeks back I applied for my naturalisation, confirmation by email and post received, Biometric done, since then an emergency has happened I need to travel out of the country as soon as possible.
How do I request for my passport and biometric card back back.
Will this cancel my application
How long will it take for my documents to be sent back to me after requesting.
Please advise as I need to travel without delay.
Anyone ever

This is why we always advise members to apply using NCS at the council in order to hold onto their original documents.

It can take a few weeks.

Hi there, I've requested my passport back thru their website (EU national) on 23 July and received it today, which is exactly 10 working days. It was sent yesterday by special guaranteed delivery by 1pm.

Is requesting document back put application on hold, I have send EEA ID Card + Passport as both exams were taken with different document? I may need to request one of them back.
Thanks

Update: 4 days after requested passport back application was decided and passport was sent back with all documents and the approval letter. So requesting document back (in the final stage only I guess) do not put application on hold only speed it up :D
