Hi

I applied for my daughter passport as her biological father is British citizen but I'm not married and living with him and i myself on discreationary leave on the basis of my other 2 children who are British through naturalization

i sent my daughter birth certificate and my partner British passport with application

now after apply for passport i got a letter from home office saying

''Thank you for submitting a passport application for '' my daughter name ''
we would like to discuss the application with you. but unfortunately we were unable to reach you on the phone number you gave, please call us on 0300 3300 0000 at your earliest convenience

so i want to know what can they ask and is it something to worry about?

any help would be appreciated

thank you

As you aren't married to your child's father, the HO may require him to provide a DNA test proving paternity. Were you married to anyone else when your child was born?

no not married to anyone

my first 2 children, when i done there naturalization i done there dna test because at that time there father had indefinite and when they receive the naturalization certificate, i applied there passport, it goes through smoothly within a week i got there passport and at that time i haven't send there dna test to passport office
but when my daughter born her father had a passport a week before, so she born after he become british

so you think they will ask me to do dna test

all i wanna know what possibly they can ask on phone ?

i dont think they will ask me to do dna

just curious '' is it just to confirm the details or they will do any tricky questions ''
