British Citizenship

Dear Friends
I was granted british citizenship last month and my wife got her indefinite leave to remain last week based on 10 year stay.
My son who has completed 10 year legal stay in Jan 2017, he was not born in UK.
My question is can I apply for british citizenship for my son based on the fact that his father is a british citizen and her mother has indefinite leave to remain or do I need to apply for indefinite leave to remain first and then after 1 year british citizenship.
