Hello All,

Looking for help and guidance in my adverse situation.

I am Indian passport holder and I got my UK ILR during July 2016. I wanted to apply for my British citizenship but wasn't able to do so due to work.

My father passed away in May end and I flew to India 29th May and intended to return on 19July but met with an accident and returned to the UK on 23rd Aug 2017 which is 87 continuous days that I was out of country. Last year I visited India for 19 days during November and returned back to UK on 21st November.

So in last 12months I was out of the UK for 106 days.

1.) I want to apply for BC rather delaying more. Can some one help me to understand, the best way to show absences?
2.) Can I apply by the first week of Oct or logically should I wait and apply after Nov 17? Do you see any challenges with application?
3.) Can I show my father's death certificate and hospital medical certificate (admitted for 3 days) with application? If yes, Can someone guide me/provide me health certificate format.
4.) Do I need to show strong ties with UK? What kind of docs I can submit to show strong ties with the UK?

Kindly, help me to find out best way.

Thanks in anticipation.

Best regards.

What do you mean 'show absences'? You simply need to state your absence as the form asks.
2.) Can I apply by the first week of Oct or logically should I wait and apply after Nov 17? Do you see any challenges with application?
HO will usually disregard absences of 100 days.
3.) Can I show my father's death certificate and hospital medical certificate (admitted for 3 days) with application? If yes, Can someone guide me/provide me health certificate format.

Not necessary.
4.) Do I need to show strong ties with UK? What kind of docs I can submit to show strong ties with the UK?

Does the form ask you for this information :?:
