Hello All,

I would like to share my experience of my application being successful with 854 days absences in last 5yrs. with 120 days absence in last one year.I had a single absence more than 600 days.
I made an application asking for discretion in my favor.
I had many reasons for the long absence, which I provided with the application.
I am thankful to HO to apply discretion in my favour.
Good luck to those in similar situation
Kaydee

Hi Kaydee,

Congratulations, we are also having more absences and planning for discertion. Have you gone through any solicitor ? Do you need to show any proofs for UK being to be your future home.

Thanks,
Sri.

Sorry for late reply. No I didn't use any solicitor. I did all application on my own.
Yes, one should emphasize the intention to make UK his future home.
