Place of first arrival - can't remember the seaport

Hello all,

I am filling in section 2.1 of my AN Form (Feb 2017) and, as ridiculous as it may sound, I do not remember the exact seaport where I took the ferry to. It was back in 2005 (I do know the date +/- 1-2 days), however it could have been any of the many seaports on the south-east / east coast of Britain.

I realise that whatever I enter in this section might be cross-referenced with the records of the Border Agency, therefore am quite concerned about not being able to answer with certainty.

Any advice?

Many thanks in advance.

You are from Poland, maybe Folkestone (Euro tunel).

Just answer as is, i.e. "South-east coast ferry port, not sure which".
No point making up anything. Anyone's guess whether this point might be picked on.

@brytol it was definitely a ferry and as far as I remember it was from Cuxhaven, so I am guessing I probably arrived in Harwich or Hull, but thanks for your suggestion nonetheless.

@alterhase58 you're completely right, there's virtually no way for me to know for sure at this point, so I will just be honest and say I cannot remember.

Thank you both.

How can you not remember this? Sounds fishy.

Memory is imperfect, do explain "as best you can remember".

@badyy I am sorry it sounds fishy to you.

@vinny correct, especially when you travel a lot (and it's over 12 years ago!). I'll do just as you said and explain as well as I can. Thanks!
