Hi,

Appreciate any advice in this regard.

Background Info :
Father :
ILR obtained : 07-07-2014
(On Tier 1 visa before getting ILR.)

Mother :
Tier 1 Dependent from :20-April-2010
ILR obtained : 07-07-2014

Daughter:
Born Nov-2012 in India.
Initial UK Visa : Tier 1 dependent - Jan2013
ILR Obtained: 07-07-2014.

Mother and Daughter are applying for British Citizenship in November 2017.
(Father does not plan to apply for British Citizenship now.)

Q’s regarding Mother :
=>Residence requirement: Form AN BookLet : Pg5. mentions
“You must have been physically present in England, Wales, Scotland, NI , the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands on the day 5 years before the application is received by the Home Office.
For ex: If your application is received on 20/03/2017 you should have been physically present in the UK on 21/03/2012. “

Q1. - Mother was in India between 03-August-2012 and 07-June-2013, for the whole period for pregnancy.
If I file the BC application on 10-Nov-2017, will it still be valid ?. Since the mother was in India for pregnancy during this time ?

Mothers absence of days is well below 450 days in 5 years and 90 days fin the last 12 months.

Is there a UK Home Office customer service email I can send my query to ?

Thanks for your help!

No she will get refused as she was not physically present in the UK on 10 November in 2012. Being physically present at the start of the 5 year qualifying period is mandatory. She will have to wait till after 7th June 2018 to apply.

And without either parent applying now, your daughter won't qualify either. They will both have to wait.
