British passport question

So I got my longed for British citizenship and a lovely certificate. Now time to apply for the passport and wondering if anyone could help...

I assume I need to send my Polish passport with the application- and the citizenship certificate.

Both my parents and grandparents were born in Poland. Now, do I need to give the details of grandparents' details and date of marriage, if I am not claiming the passport based on their (nonexistent) claim to BC?
Grandparents are long dead and no one in the family even knows when they got married, I could just about get my parents' date of marriage...

Congratulation!

Are you using the paper form?

If you use the online form at https://www.gov.uk/apply-renew-passport it will only ask for the relevant questions to your case. Anyway, just answer "I don't know" when you don't know the answer.

You do not need to give your grand parents' details. Only parents' details are fine.

Thanks!
I am doing the paper version. Rang the Passport infoline and they did not know, which was a bit confusing.
Not sure how my grandparents were relevant to an application, good I don't need to include the details :)
