Motoring Conviction - POINTS - SP30 - Naturalization

Hi All,
***PLEASE NEED HELP***
I am currently on ILR and my one year is about to complete 1 DECEMBER 2017.
This will allow me to apply for Naturalization.
MY BIGGEST WORRY IS MOTORING CONVICTION AKA POINTS ON MY LICENCE.
Currently I have following Points on my Licence:
SP30 - OFFENCE DATE - 11/10/201 - EXCEEDING STATUTORY SPEED LIMIT ON A PUBLIC ROAD - 3 POINTS, £100 FINE
SP30 - OFFENCE DATE - 30/11/2016 - EXCEEDING STATUTORY SPEED LIMIT ON A PUBLIC ROAD - 3 POINTS, £100 FINE
In both above cases I accepted offence by post.
I’ve paid my fine within 3 days of received latter.
I sent my licence to advised address and returned me with Points on my licence.
Can anyone please advise how this will affect my application if I make one soon as become eligible?
Now the fee of application is VERY high I would rather be sure than sorry.
I truly appreciate your help.
Thank you.

If you didn't have any court conviction and it was jsut FPN then you should be fine! But for naturalization you will have to mention all of FPNs. Ideally this should not impact but if you have had too many then it may !

Your first offence date is incomplete
Do you have a total of 6 points on your licence now?

Hi makky86
"If you didn't have any court conviction and it was jsut FPN then you should be fine! But for naturalization you will have to mention all of FPNs. Ideally this should not impact but if you have had too many then it may !"
I did not go personally to the court but i believe my licence went to court to award penalty points.
I do not know what is FPN - Can you please advise?
I currently have 6 LIVE points on my Licence - what would you classify or meant by "if you have had too many then it may"
Please advise.
Thank you.
Harsh

Hi hussainfarhad
well Noticed.
SP30 - OFFENCE DATE - 11/10/2017 - EXCEEDING STATUTORY SPEED LIMIT ON A PUBLIC ROAD - 3 POINTS, £100 FINE
I have currently total LIVE 6 POINTS on my licence as mentioned in first post.
I am not aware how would this impact.
you guidance will be appreciated.
Thank you.
Harsh

FPN is Fixed Penalty Notice. How do you know License went to the court for points? Did you get court summon?

As I said before , FPN don't lead to refusals but for citizenship if you have had like couple of FPN every year then it may cause issue. There is no such written rule for this.

Personally I would apply but not sure if NCS will accept your application. I had one sp50 conviction but my application was accepted even though it actually went to court. Generally if everything else in your application checks out then you shouldn't worry and apply by post if NCS is a no go.
Perhaps a senior mod can shed some more light.

Hi makky86,
First of all I appreciate your ongoing guidance on my query.
Thank you.
Now moving on to your replay:
“FPN is Fixed Penalty Notice. How do you know License went to the court for points? Did you get court summon? “
First of all I received a letter from ESSEX POLICE saying I’ve been caught using the Mobile speed camera unit. I was given 2 options.
1) Accept the liability, Pay £100 Fine and accept 3 Penalty points
2) Appeal the decision and request court hearing
Since I was the driver, I accepted option 1. Paid my £100 fine to relative authority and sent my photo card licence to below address:
Her Majesty’s Court & tribunal service (HMCTS)
The Conditional Offer Unit
PO BOX 5992
SOUTH END ON SEA
ESSEX
SS1 9PX
As you can see in address reference of “HER MAJESTY’S COURT” I’ve made assumption that my photo card licence went to court. I never personally went to court or received ANY summons or letter from COURT to attend the hearing.
Please advise your thoughts on my assumption.
“As I said before, FPN don't lead to refusals but for citizenship if you have had like couple of FPN every year then it may cause issue. There is no such written rule for this.”
For the above points, my latest penalty points are from October-2017 and I had same conviction (SP30) in November -2016. I have rate of One conviction a year in last 2 years.
Would you consider that as a frequent??
I wish the rule and guideline were lot more clear than they are now.
Thank you.

Hi hussainfarhad,
I also appreciate your guidance on this confusion I have.
Many thanks

Would you mind sharing if the conviction you had was fresh as mine when you made application?
I agree - I would appreciate if any SENIOR individual can share their Guidance on my case.
Thank you.
Harsh
