Hello there,

I will be using NCS and their joint application for both passport and citizenship service. Long story short... On my AN form one of the referees is British, 75 years old, managing director of LTD company. Now, I have a choice in terms of who will be my 2nd referee:

Option 1: Airline Pilot, 23 years of age, Polish passport.
Option 2: Registered Nurse, 55 years of age, British passport.

Option 1 is slightly easier to reach and therefore I would prefer that one, but my only concern is that it states in British passport application booklet that both counter-signatories have to hold a British passport. Since it's a joint application I'm not 100% what to do.

Kind regards,
Pav

You don't need the referee page signed on the passport application if you are applying using the JCAP scheme.

For form AN, you need referees. Your professional referee is the one that can be any nationality. The other referee (friend) must be over 25 and British.
Option 1: Airline Pilot, 23 years of age, Polish passport.
Won't be accepted. Your referees MUST be older than 25.
Option 2: Registered Nurse, 55 years of age, British passport.
Fine.
