First Passport Application - Supporting Documents

Hi everyone

I'm hoping someone might be able to help with this. I will be applying for my first UK passport as a naturalised citizen soon, and I have looked at the list of supporting documents that need to be provided. I'm an EU national born outside of the UK so according to the government website I need to provide:
  • your naturalisation or registration certificate
  • the passport you used to come into the UK or the foreign passport you’re included on
The first one is obvious but I'm having a slight problem with the second one as I haven't got the passport that I used to enter the UK with as it has been renewed a couple of times since I first arrived (been here for a while...). I obviously have a current passport but according to the above that's not what they want? I phoned their advice line and was basically told "send what you have and if they need anything else they'll tell you"... Not very helpful as per usual...

Any ideas? I suspect it'll just be my current passport. Could you also send an EU identity card instead of the passport?

Thanks

You need to send your passport (current) and all uncancelled passports too (if you have any).

Where in the guidance notes does it state you must submit the passport you entered on?

Page 12/13 clearly states what is required for naturalised citizens.

Thanks CR001.

The list is from the government official website which is different to the booklet - very confusing.
