My partner indefinate leave to remain is going to be completed. He had the visa 10 years. This next year Jan 2018 is going to be his 10 years of indefinate leave to remain. So thats the end to it. Now he will get the British citizenship.

Does he has to complete the Life in the uk. Or doesnt he have to.

Can he get the citizenship without doing the life in the uk. He has been paying £ 2000 every 2 years for the visa. And now all been completed. And end to it..

What do you mean by that?

Your partner will need to pass life in the UK test & also an English language proficiency test at B1 level from an approved centre.
