Applying for child's passport, parent on ILR

Hi

I'm and wondering whether we should hold off applying for our Citizenship until we get a Passport for our new child.

I'm thinking we may:
1. Still go ahead with our NCS but withold our ILR BRP (mid month)
2. Register for a Passport for our child once born (end of the month) using ILR
3. Await approval for Citizenship
4. If the approval comes quicker than the Passport, push back the ceremony until the Passport comes back (max of 3 weeks).

Do you think this would work?

Thank you.

I have split your post from the topic that is 2 years old.

Kindly explain exactly what it is you are trying to achieve and what you mean by 'passport' presumably for the child?

Have you registered the child as British yet? general-uk-immigration-forum/child-born ... l#p1280585

Who is applying at NCS for citizenship?
