Brithish Citizenship for Children- Please help

Hi,

I was granted ILR along with my wife and four children (all under 18). My understanding is I need to apply for naturalisation for myself and my wife on Form AN and registration for children as they are under 18.

How do I apply for children?
Do I need to complete MN1 form for each?
Or do I need to enter them on one of our forms? There appears to be no column for that on form AN

I really appreciate your help guys

Thank you

Where were the children born? How long have they lived in the UK? What are their ages?

Hi, Thank you for quick response.

They were all born outside of UK and have been living in the UK since 2010.

Joined as PBS dependent and granted ILR at the same time with me.

Each person applying has to complete their own form. So you need 2 x form An and 4 x form MN1.

If your wife, all four children and you have ILR, then then can all apply on individual Form MN1s along with the two parents (wach with individual Form ANs). So, totally, six forms.

EDIT: Beaten by CR001 :)

Hi guys,

I am due to apply for Naturalisation for myself and spouse and Registration for our 4 children aged 17, 15, 11 and 10.

All of my children were born outside of the UK and were granted ILR last year at same time with me.

I would really appreciate if you could answer the following:

Q 1: My understanding is- I need to complete 'From AN' for myself and spouse and 'From MN1' for each child- PLEASE COULD YOU CONFIRM IF THIS IS CORRECT?

Q 2: Question 1.1 on Form MN1 asks "Please indicate the section of the British Nationality Act 1981
under which you would like the application considered". PLEASE COULD YOU PROVIDE ANSWER FOR THIS?

Section 3(1) for children born abroad.
Q2: Can a Director of a limited company (VAT registered small business) sign the AN form as a professional referee?
Yes, provided they have known you for 3 years, are not related to you by blood or marriage, are of good character and over 25 years of age.
Q3: Can the same person above sign the passport from as referee?
Passport referee not required if using JCAP at NCS as far as I am aware.
