Good Evening.

On what date shall I be eligible to apply for British Naturalisation ;

Date of Aquiring on the Letter is : 12-12-2016.

BRP issue Date is : 15-06-2017.

Would someone please clarify to resolve this confusion. Because the N form says "you have to hold it for 12 months" and whereas my Date of Aquiring the rights have already passed that time limit but HO issue date is different on my BRP.



Timeline:

Been married to an EEA National (who got British Naturalisation in 2014) since 2011 and still being together - forever. .

I have already done ; Life in UK and B1 from Trinity college.

Providing you meet all the standard requirements, including permitted absence, as you are married to a British citizen you can apply for BC now.

What a Relief this is.

So you mean the "Acquiring Date " which is mentioned on the accompanying Letter will be considered to calculate my one year and not the date of issue of the card ?
