Nationality Checking service appointment/ documents

Hi everyone, so I'm currently waiting for the NCS to contact me with my appointment date and I have all the documents ready (more than I think I need), however, I'm not sure how I should present them.
Can I just separate them in categories (payslips, etc) and use a paper clip to hold them together or should I use like a binder where you separate each document in a different "plastic bag" (sorry, forgot the word for that)? I mean, it's quite a lot of papers, so I don't want them (or me) to get all messed up, but at the same time I don't want to go looking like I'm carrying an encyclopedia, lol Could you please let me know how, those of you who already used the NCS, did?
Thank you in advance!
