I came to live in United Kingdom since April 2010, soon after that I did report to Home Office and applied for asylum seeker. On 06/05/2010, I had my first interview with Home Office (Lunar House, Croydon, London) relating to my Asylum seeker application.
During above interview, I did report and declared to the officer of Home Office that: While I was staying in France, I was threaten by the people from trafficking group that I must not tell to anyone my real name and date of birth details, otherwise I could get hurt and they would not let me coming to the United Kingdom. I was so afraid, worrying and panicking! Therefore, I had no choice but to obey and follow their orders. There was once, I have been arrested by the Police at Calais border and I had given my fake name and age to Police officer as I have been told to do so.
The truth was I did declare all above details during the interview of Home Office that while I was staying in France, I had different name and date of birth. The officer did take note about these details.
On December 2014, I have been committed an offence of driving without insurance. Regarding about this offence, I always feel sorry for what I had done!
On 2015, Home Office approved Indefinitely leave to remain status for me and my son. At this time, I intended to apply for British Citizenship. But according to the record of my offence (Driving without insurance), my solicitor advised me to wait for another three years for this application.
Then on July 2017, my mum informed me the horrible news that my dad has got lung cancer and he was dying in seeing me for the last time.
I was so upset and anxious to see my dad. Therefore, I decided to apply for British Citizenship in the hope to see my dad soon. But, on October 2017 my dad was passed away due to lung cancer illness.
I did not realise that using different name and date of birth in France that also be committed as an offence. As on May 2015, during the interview for my asylum seeker application, I had already declared to the officer of Home Office about these details. And therefore, I did not declare about that again when I completed Application form for British Citizenship. I only declared about my offence of driving without insurance (December 2014).
According to the above matter, my application has been declined and I will not entitle to apply for British Citizenship in the next ten years.
Anyone give me some advice , what should I do then , can I fight back? Any chance to win ?
