I'm about to apply for British Citizenship for my daughter using form UKF. I'm British, her Australian mother & I never married. I'm applying from Australia. I believe the form requires me to include her Australian passport with the application. Is this absolutely necessary? She actually has a passport, but she equally could not. The reason I ask is she may? need it in the next 6 months and I basically don't trust standard mail for the return of the passport. There is no courier service offered unlike an overseas application for a British passport. Any advice / previous experience from Australia would be appreciated.
