Which route my kids should take?

Hi,
I got my BC through naturalisation last month (AN form), before i've gone through Tier2 -> ILR, and my kids are now holding ILR, and were born outside of UK.
Based on the homeoffice page, it seems my kids are considered as BC 'by descent'. So they can apply for passport without registration or naturalisation. Is my understanding right?
Thanks a lot.
When were you born?

You might be a British citizen
In most cases you’ll be a British citizen ‘by descent’. You don’t need to register or naturalise. You can live in the UK and get a British passport.
