Hi I am in the process of applying for naturalisation and I have a question regarding Evidence of lawful residence. My passport has expired last year in July , I have searched around ant it seems i can use my passport for for evidence up until it expired and would need other means of providing my residence. The thing is I graduated in July last year and took a few months break and just recently started looking for jobs. Can i use my bank statement as proof or would i need something else?

They do not accept bank statement. Maybe you should renew your passport and add copies of your application, payments and acknowledgments etc. At least you will prove that you just renewed your pp and you cannot leave UK without a passport.
