Hi there
I know they were similar topics but I am looking for updated information.
I am Polish citizen living in UK for 4 years and next year February I would like to apply for Permanent Residence which I am not sure if it is necessary...
I would like my child (born in UK/October 2017- 6 months ago) to get British Passport.
My husband is South African and also came to UK with me 4 years ago.
What should I do to get British Passport for my child?
Should I apply for him once I will be in UK for 5 years or should I first apply for my PR?
What are the fees?

You cannot apply directly for a passport.

You have to register the child as British once you have attained PR, current cost of this process is £1,000 and is separate to the passport application.

You need PR to be able to register your child.

Thank you for reply.
How much would the passport application cost on the top of mentioned £1000?
