Hi,

I am filling the online application for 2 children for NDRS service.

The 2nd referee as per the home office guidance it has to be either teacher or health care professional.

I can take the print outs and get hard copy signed from the school teacher.

My question is what details needs to be filled in the online form for 2nd referee section as I don't know yet who is going to sign the hard copy of the referee could be school teacher or GP.

Please help me with my query.

Thanks

The rule says:

The application must be supported by two referees. One referee should be a
professional who has engaged with the child in a professional capacity,
such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion.

The other referee must normally be the holder of a British citizen
passport and either a professional person or over the age of 25

Maybe you get the referee sign first before you do the online form?

I spoke to school and they refused to sign referee for the child.Child moved to new school 1.6 years ago and school saying that they should be knowing the child for minimum 2 years.

I am stuck .I have to complete online appointment and then NDRS appointment next week.

Can senior members kindly help me what could be the next step?

Thanks

Hi,

I have managed to find the 2nd referee private tutor of my children.

I have completed the online form and paid the fees .

For one of the child I forgot to mention absence for one particular period for 29 days.
However all other absences were mentioned and for other 2 applicants all absences are covered.

Can you please suggest whether I have to write a cover letter stating one of the absence was not mentioned?

Will it be a big issue due to missing absence declaration for 29 days for one child?

Thank you.

Just add the missing absence in a cover letter.
Your intl passport covering the past 5 years can cover both if you are non EEA. If you are EEA you can submit any of the following
P60's
Letter from Employer
Letter from College/University (must read ‘attended’ along with confirmation of start & end date)
Statement of Taxes from Inland Revenue
Child/Family Tax Credit Statement
Child Benefit Letter
Jobseekers Allowance Letter (recently dated and confirming the start & end date)
Income Support Letter (recently dated and confirming the start & end date)
Housing Association Letter (recently dated and confirming the start & end date)
