Hi all. Can someone please clarify a point?
I have PR and looking into applying for BC just now
I have taken the LiUK test and passed
Now for the language requirements:
My C2 IELTS (2012) was a requirement for me to start work when i first came to the UK, in 2012. I have an email from my employer (NHS) clarifying this.
Do i need to take IELTS again? I am a bit confused to be honest
Thanks
Marion

Are you an EU National??

If yes, then you will likely need another test as you would not have needed to meet the English requirement to remain in the UK (immigration wise rather than job wise).

Your test must be valid (yours has likely expired) and be from a test provider on the current HO approved list.

Expired tests can only be used IF the test was used and accepted for a previous immigration application.

thanks for the quick reply
Yes I am a EU citizen and have not gone through immigration first. I just started work immediately after I arrived.
The test was required for me in order to work.
So.... I guess i must take it again.

Thanks that was very helpful
Have a nice day
