Quick question re document required for settled status of parent for MN1

" If the child told us that their parent is settled in the UK then you must provide us evidence of their settled status. This could include a BRP, a letter from Home Office, an endorsement in their passport or another document certifying permanent residence."
I am a British Citizen now. I am going to send my passport along with completed MN1 application form.
Is my British passport enough as evidence for this requirement above? Or do I need to send my naturalisation certificate too?
There is separate requirement in the checklist too "If main applicant has told us their parent is a British Citizen then you must provide us evidence of their citizenship. This could include British Passport etc."
Thank you.

Do you still have your BRP card proving ILR?? If not, do you have evidence of it in the form of certified copy? This is the 'evidence of settled status' that HO will likely want to see.
Why have you waited so long to register your child?

No, I don't have my ILR BRP but I do have letter from Home Office when I was granted ILR. I have got photocopy of my ILR BRP too. Do you think that letter is good as an evidence?
The reason I waited so long is that I thought I could only apply for my child's naturalisation after getting my British Citizenship.
Thank you so much for your help.

You should send the letter, copy of your ILR BRP card and your evidence of British citizenship then.
Is this a different child to the one born in Feb 2015 you posted about previously??

You could have registered him as soon as you got ILR in 2015. You will need to send evidence of your ILR as well.

Curious!!!! What was the immigration status of the child between Feb 2015 to Feb 2017?

@ ajitk1 - your question is irrelevant as the child is UK born and does not require a valid visa to be eligible for citizenship. Child could also continue on whichever dependent visa they had, if any.

Yes I could have. I must have read wrong information somewhere that I could only do so after my British Citizenship. Anyways hopefully all gets sorted now without any issues.
I will update here once I get any updates on our application.
Thanks CR001 for your help in this matter.

It is children born abroad that can only register as British when either or both parents naturalise.
You're welcome. Good luck.
