Hello All

I would really appreciate if someone would please advise me. Not sure how immigration officer calculates absences from UK during last 5 years.

I have been out of the country for aboout 382 days in last 5 years. I I have been outside UK for 182 in 2014 and for 127 days in 2016 and 73 days last year.

Guidance say we are allowed 450 days of absences in 5 years, do they mean 90 days maximum every year which is equal to 450 days in 5 years. Or they just look at the total number of days in 5 years without looking at the length of time spend outside the country during each year.

I know I shouldn’t be absent for more than 90 in last 12 months. I am ok with that.

Need an urgent advise please, as I have booked my NDRS appointment for 5th june and I am planning to submit online application on 2 or 3rd june.

Thank you.

Only in the last year its 90 days. The total must not exceed 450 in the 5 years.
