Hi
I'm planning to make passport registration for my two children under 1(3).
If I apply through NCS at the council, I know I can keep all my original documentation. Does it include my Passport and ILR card as well that means can I keep my passport and ILR card if I apply through NCS ?

Yes if you apply online and then book an appointment with the council to submit your documents

Thank you very much for replying my question. It is a relief since my passport and ILR card have to be used for my Wife's FLR(M) application.
While checking the paper based MN1 form I found the question such as:
'State if and when the child was given indefinite leave to
enter/remain in the UK. If the child’s parent is an EEA national, a
Swiss national or a family member of an EEA or Swiss national
you should ensure that they qualify for permanent residence.
Child has indefinite leave to enter/remain in the UK. Date granted:'
My children were not given ILR. How to answer this question? There is space to write the date only nothing else.

yes, the kids were born here.
Just put N/A in all as they are not required to have ILR to apply for registration. They were born here and 1 parent holds a settled status.
