On the face of it not - PP fee is taken by HMPO, AN by UKVI.
It' s not a reflection on the status of your AN application, which would be my first priority.

Hi,

Today we have received the British passport for the my daughter born outside UK.However we received the Home Office approval for citizenship only on 7th July.Still no ceremoney is booked.
I dont understand without getting the naturalisation certifcate how the child has become British citizen and recieved the passport?
Has the passport office issued the passport based on Father Biritish Citizen and mother on ILR?If so then whether home office not considered ILR obtained for the child which I have paid huge ILR feee for child?

Thanks

Presumably you applied joint BC/Passport. Child does not attend ceremony. If you/your wife have received approval, likely all certificates will be given to you/wife at the ceremony.

Thanks CR001.
It seems for child become Citizen is the date mentioned in the passport and not the date they receive naturalisation certificate ?

I guess the certificate would have date as
the passport issue date ?

Child is British from the date on the REGISTRATION Certificate (only adults are naturalised).

No, the certificate will have a different date on, a date before the passport issue date.

For REGISTRATION is it required for child to obtain ILR?

For children born abroad YES, for children born in the UK, NO.

The ceremony must be attended within 90 days of approval letter.

Your child is British from date on the certificate not the date in the passport. Child has 3 months grace period to use Indian passport from the date on the certificate.

If you applied through JCAP than why you paid the passport fee over the phone.? The form should be filled and handed to Council.

The payment card details provided was incorrect.we forgot to mention 3 digit cvv number during JCAP hence received letter from passport office stating they were unable to take the payment and asked pay urgenty by calling the passport office.
