Hello,
I am a Lithuanian citizen (EU) and Lithuania does not permit dual citizenship. I received my British citinzenship certificate a week ago but I booked holiday in 4 weeks time and was planning to postpone applying for British passport after I am back. Would i have any problems travelling with my old Lithuanian passport after receiving British citizenship?

Thank you so much in adavance for your help!

Kind Regards,
Olga

This is really down to you - you need to understand what you have to do under Lithuanian law, and the consequences in case you are not in compliance. I assume you will automatically have lost the Lituanian citizenship. The UK authorities don't communicate the fact that you now have UK citizenship, but they are also unlikely to provide any consular support if you get into trouble when you are in Lithuania. Dual nationals are unlikely to receive consular support in the country of their other citizenship.
