Hi All

I am on ILR which was granted to be in April 2014. I am applying for naturalisation under 3 year category as my spouse is British. I am claiming my 3 year from 01/07/2015 till 01/06/2018.

I am filling the Trips outside the UK section on online form. For one of my trips I departed the country on 30 July 2014 and came back in sept 2016. Since I am claiming the 3 year period from 01/07/2015 till 01/06/2018, I am confused as to what date I need to put as departure date. Do I need to put 30/07/2014 which is actually the date I departed and which falls outside my 3 year claim period or 1/07/2015 which is not exactly my departure date but is the start of my 3 year claim period.

Any help would be really appreciated

Are you sure your dates are correct? You were out of the UK for more than 2 years??

If yes, then you don't qualify from 2015 as you were not physically present in the UK at the start of your 3 year qualifying period, which is a mandatory requirement and if you do not meet this, your application will be refused.
