First British Passport for a Child after receiving citizenship.

Hiya,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this?
I am filling in the passport form for my daughter's first British Passport and Section 4 of the form requires us to provide more information. As my daughter's citizenship was based on Section 1 (3), do I just provide details of our ILR information? I assume the bit about providing details of her grandparents marriage is not needed?
Thanks!

The guidance notes clearly state what sections need to be completed, simply complete what is asked for. Grandparents details not required if child is not automatically British born to British born parents.
First British passport - Child Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9.
Section 6 if it applies.
The countersignatory must fill in section 10 and certify, sign and date

You need to provide child’s registration certificate, that was based on Section 1(3).

Thanks, I was confused because Section 4 says you need to complete Section 8 if both parents were born abroad (which we were, however we do not have British nationality, only ILR) however the guidance notes didn't include Section 8, as you have referenced above.
I'll leave Section 8 blank.
Thanks again.

Or the parents claim to British citizen, as the form states, so not relevant to include grandparents details.
Important to note that the same application form for passports is used for everyone, people born British or those applying through naturalisation/registration. You only complete what is relevant to your particular situation.
