Question from my friend
She change her name so she has apply the new brp with the new name that is showing the start date is 18/01/2018. She got her indefinite leave to remain since 2011. Does she need to wait until january 2019 or she can apply for citizenship just now.

She can apply if she qualifies. Her STATUS has not changed, it is just the BRP that is new.
