HI my husband applied for British citizenship based on his marriage to me. I am British.

I need to request my passport back and have gone online to fill in the form but not sure whether that will also cancel his application as that is not what I want. It says this form is to request your documents and withdraw the application.

Could you advise pls?

There was no need to send your original passport in the first instance, copies would have been sufficient.

My understanding is that there is a tick box that you can select NOT to withdraw.

I submitted application online and I thought they said all documents must be original.

Anyway I can not see a box where to tick and say No for withdrawing
