Schengen Visa impact on BC

I have applied for a Schengen visa to visit Spain for tourism and it got rejected (in Apr 2018) mostly because I hadn't shown any proof of work (stupid me! I know 
My question is: does that would affect my British Citizenship application as I'm going to apply on Sep 2018??
Because according to my knowledge, All Schengen area does exchange information on a regular basis. So it's quite likely that all Schengen countries have access to the fact that I have been denied a Spanish visa.
I would be appreciated your advice accordingly
