MN1 for my daughter

Hi to everyone
Can someone help me regarding my application. I got my IlR 8 days after my daughter was born. which is my daughter born on 18 july 2018 and i got my ILR 26 July 2018.
when i call home office they advised me to apply through MN1 application . I am bit confused about this application as they ask so many question which is not related to my daughter and even online
which is the best way to apply online or by post?
