Dear friends
I am sorry if I am starting this as a new topic, but I tried to find an answer and couldn't retrieve it. My query is that - I applied for Naturalisation on 24th July by NCS and the fee was taken from my account on 6th of August. I have still not received any acknowledgement from home office (postal or email) and no letter for biometrics either. Is it normal? How long shall I wait?
I want to go on holidays but just thought it would be nicer to get the bio-metrics done before I leave and then I can spend longer time with my family back home and won't have any stress of missing this letter or delaying my biometrics. Any suggestion?

Did you apply using the paper form or the online form??

It was paper form, not online.

The bio letter can take a couple of weeks.

Just quickly - is there a time limit to get bio-metrics done, like a particular limit after receiving the letter?

Within 15 days (I think working days) once you get the letter. If you don't enroll, then you will get another letter giving you 10 days. You only get two chances before they reject your application.
